$500 million isn't anything. Its what the Federal Reserve prints every 7 hours via Quantiative Easing.
Because that's precisely what this thread is about... the Fed.
Well, its about $500m, which can be easily fabricated in a few hours. Not that big of a road block to cure cancer?
We could have ended world hunger with the money we spent on wars in the Middle East. There's so much fucking money in the world, but so little of it is in a position to do any good.
or, um, the sun.The only "cure" for cancer would be the extermination of mankind, since nearly all cancer is created by man.
How would we end world hunger when the money that was supposed to go to the citizens is distributed by those who are keeping them hungry?
It's like people don't even think before they have their unrealistic nonsensical posts. Hey, let's just sprinkle magic money on those who live under oppression. Surely those oppressing them will feed their people.
I wish we could all eat steak every night, with some lobster as an appetizer. That would be great. That's as unrealistic as thinking you can throw money into poor countries and expect their leadership to distribute it to their people so they can eat.
Just so fucking unrealistic. What a crock of shit. It's time to wake up, America.
I'm just saying 1.7 trillion dollars is a lot to throw around. Why did we have to throw it around in a single, extended act of warmaking? Hell, 1.7 trillion dollars would have bought us several Mars colonies or Helium 3 mining on the moon or some cool shit like that. We don't *have* to feed everyone with the money. How about doing something cool with it rather than drone striking all the live long day?
We could have paid for every pair of socks to come with an extra sock just in case.

1.7trillion would have been enough to buy good season tickets to the Blazers, for an entire family.
We could have made BBQ free for everyone in the month of February.
We could have paid to paint flames on all Toyota Camrys and NOS every Honda Civic.
We could have paid dolphins to learn our language.
We could have paid for every pair of socks to come with an extra sock just in case.
So many great ideas, but war was fun.
Ironic you chose the month of February for you BBQ feast![]()
