like what??...lol....the need for more rappers with a message is a complete joke considering

A. I've been listening to UGK before anyone knew who they were and I can never recall them making "uplifting" music

B. You can still catch them doing songs with Young Jeezy and talking about the same things that he ridicules in the interview

C. Dude just got out of prison not too long ago for beating a woman I believe

D. His name is PIMP C.....oh yes nothing like a guy who has the word pimp in his name to be talking about morality


And that crap about Atlanta not being south is just stupid...first of all what is he trying to prove by saying Atlanta isn't the south?....does it even matter?....and second of all if he's basing regions on time zones, then I guess Chicago is in the south also....I really think this guy is using and had nothing better to do then to make an ass out of himself on public radio.

I was thinking the same thing too, how UGK doesn't even make music like that, but he still said it and he is still right...even if he is a hypocrite. Most people aren't saying anything at all.

yeah Chicago shares Central time with places in Texas...like Houston and Port Arthur (where Pimp C is from)......there's no such thing as "southern" time, lol

Never thought I'd bad mouth Chad but you guys made some solid points. He is a hypocrite and I doubt he should say that when people been screaming "Free Pimp C!" for the thigns he has done. But still, I think his partner Bun B is a better rapper.</p>
