The weird thing is two days ago I got a ride home from work and it was raining but the streets were dry. It poured the next day just after I got home and the street was flooded, but nothing like in the video and pix on that WWW page. The next morning, the streets were wet, but no standing water and I made my way to work like most any other day. When I got home, the streets were wet, but no standing water.

The video and photos were taken while I was at work.

While I was walking home from work, I did see two TV news trucks parked in the parking lot just to the left of where the camera man is at the start of the video. They were packing up to leave.

There were guys from the city with a huge gas powered pump and giant hoses pumping the water away, but I didn't see the standing water anymore.
