Stopping Jeff Green and Cole Aldrich will be the key. They have the ability to get buckets inside and open up the offense for shooters. Limit those guys and force difficult shots; we win this. Crawford and Rivers won't be able to generate enough perimeter offense on their own.

We might see some unusual lineups such as Aldrich and DeAndre on the floor together.

Have patience and take the good shots. I expect unpredictable traps. They'll even trap more than in other games for periods at first but then they'll mix it up and leave DameCJ open at other times to keep them off balance. Run the offense, attack the weak point of the defense and we will be very difficult to beat.

Win this and we will be on the brink of advancing. Go Blazers!

I think our best lineup would be with Harkless and Aminu at PF and C, with Crabbe or Henderson at the 3. We would put one of Harkless/Aminu on Redick or Crawford and the other on DeAndre. Crabbe/Henderson can guard whoever their stretch 4 is. Basically

Rivers (Lillard)
Redick/Crawford (Harkless)
Mbah A Moute (McCollum)
Green/Pierce (Crabbe/Henderson)
Jordan/Aldrich (Aminu)

-Length bothers Redick, so Hark would be a good guy to put on him. The bigger advantage of these defensive matchups would be being able to switch all Redick pindowns which wouldn't allow him looks, as well as all Crawford pick n rolls, as all 5 defenders are capable of switching onto him.

Offensively, it would force DeAndre to guard one of Harkless/Aminu, which may be challenging to him. He'd have trouble getting back with them on fast breaks as well. Lillard/Aminu pick n pops with Harkless in short corner with Crabbe and McCollum on the wings would be really hard for them to guard.

Could work. But I feel like that could also backfire and DJ could actually have an impact because he would be able to clean the glass on both ends. Without CP3 the only points DJ could score may come off of put backs or free throws.

I don't expect a lineup change, that would be contrary to what everybody is saying - in that they don't plan to change how they play.

Aminu hasn't played center all season; well except when he defended Towns and gave up the game winning bucket. No we should stick with the same starting lineup. Nothing wrong with our rotation.

Got down here around 6...... Vibe on the plane was no different than after our game 2 loss..... Serious all business! View attachment 8821
Jeez - just look at how dirty their air is! I mean, the smog was bad but now there's big chunks of carbon hanging in the air. Nasty!

Going for the ultimate "Jinx" with that pole question. Not good at all. Better put bubble wrap on Lillard!

What's the record for number of free throw attempts by a single player in a game? [39] I have a feeling it may be broken tonight if Clips try and force feed Jordan to ram the ball down our throats.

I expect the first quarter to be a big emotional rush from the Clippers. You've got a bunch of their 2nd-tier players feeling the adrenaline of "everything's on us now, let's show 'em!" and they'll come out to a high single-digit lead, but eventually Lillard and CJ will be too much for them. The Blazers just need to stay calm and poised and not get caught up in the drama of the injuries, or worse, get overconfident. I expect a 7-12 point Blazer win.

Actually, I think this will work to our advantage. They won't know who to go to or what to do. Paul was the general. He called the shots. Redick is going to be worthless without Paul. I imagine we'll see Rivers and Green jack up a bunch of shots. Crawford will take 30 shots as well. It's going to be a lot of iso-ball and me me me basketball.

So for us out-of-staters who can't get KGW and don't have NBATV, are there any other avenues to watch this game? I have Sling TV to stream all the TNT and ESPN games, but NBATV is the chink in my armor.

I loved the single game purchase option from League Pass this year, bu they don't let you watch anything on national TV, right? Which is every playoff game.

At the very worst I'll be listening to Wheels.

I don't expect a change in our starting lineup either, but I can see us using that lineup during the game
