Well...........CPAC was a poorly attended dumpster fire, with lunacy on full display, so there is that........and the Republican Party is forming a very nice circular firing squad, with Trump in the center. And Jim Jordan looks like a bigger and bigger numbskull (I know, hard to believe he could look even worse) with every "witness" he calls. So life is definitely looking a bit better overall for the sane 2/3's of America........
 
A school custodian retired but at age 80 had to return to work because he couldn't get by on his small social security and savings. When students heard why he returned they started a Go Fund Me and raised $270,000 for him.
 
Can we just have one thread where people aren't bitching?

I didn't vote for him and didn't like him as governor but Schwarzenegger has a video he made after a trip to Auschwitz that is a must watch. He addresses head on the censorship to prevent white people from being uncomfortable. Posts vids of his younger self at gyms and asks do you think that was easy? Comfortable? To grow mentally you also need to be uncomfortable sometimes. Asked people to choose knowledge over hate.

They are indeed! just bought a trolling motor for my boat! Had to bargain with wife though, she gets weekend at coast with couple friends and I get three full days of ripping lips. Hell of a deal, getting better with old age.....

The entirety of the left, from shows like The View, to their mainstream news, to late night shows literally shit on the right all day long. They have nothing on Fox when it comes to spewing hatred for the other party. But it is still blatant and no less disgusting to watch.

Hatred seems to be all there is coming from both the democrats and the republicans, their media... as well as their supporters. They are no better than what you believe my post was. I have yet to watch a democrat or republican ever chide their own for the hatred in their media. So, if you can handle the hatred coming from your party, you are already down here "In my league" dude.

I don't hate Mitch, but don't ever tell me that things are getting better while he is still alive.

We're not talking the "right" or the "left". We're talking about you and wishing another human being dead. Quit trying to rationalize your truly unkind comment. It's one thing to laugh at another's unfortunate misstep, but quite another thing to wish a man dead. Oh, and by the way, I have no party, just my own brain and conscience. And if you want to call out the "hatred that seems to be all there is coming from both Democrats and Republicans" then you're obviously no better than them when you make such a stupid comment. Two wrongs don't make a right. Check your arrogance and be better than those you so bitterly criticize.

I can't and won't defend McConnell in any way, shape or form, but I want him to live a long life, racking up the bill he has to justify when he faces St. Peter at the gate......that silver tongue won't get him anywhere up there....

That may be some consolation to some... but I don't believe he'll face any repercussions which would compare to or make up for his supporting the suffering and death of millions of Americans per year. Not that I'm advocating for his death, but he is certainly a significant net-negative to mankind.

I gotta call this out. Sorry man.

There was another person here wishing people dead on the regular.
When i pushed back the bulk of the forum who commented, got on me instead of the guy wishing people dead.
What type of double standards exists here?

When is it okay for a left leaning forum member to state he wishes certain people would die in a serious manner, but not not okay for another member who slams both left and eight to make a joke about someone not being dead yet?

where were the voices telling this left leaner he is wrong for wanting people to die? Other than mine?

Sometimes the double standards of this place rear up such an ugly head it gets just as disturbing as a comment from a member wanting someone dead.

We should be better than fox news and cnn, but really in the ot, its no different. Hasty judgments without all the facts, ignoring one parties egregiousness while slamming the other for the same thing..

This OT can be a depressing reality check on human psyche and behavior.
