Nyce.

Yeah, the wings looked good. Strangely enough, so did the deep-fried Twinkie.

Here's my Yelp review from today for King's Wings: http://www.yelp.com/biz/kings-wings-portland

So I get special permission to take some extra time off work to finally get to try my #1 favorite food- WINGS! And I've been looking forward to King's Wings for many months. I was mega pumped.

One down side is that they don't open until noon. Well, OK. Got there at noon. Sharp. Not open. WTF? I believe in pride of ownership and punctuality. So I call the number on the menu board. "Hello" is the lazy answer. "Hey, I'm at the cart. You opening today?" "Yeah". "Well, when?" "Oh, I dunno, I'm in the car now. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes". Well, that shot my wings lunch. He finally opened up at 12:30- as I was leaving.

So, I ate at the place next door- Taco Vomit. Tasteless cilantro, cellulite rice, runny beans (presuming there were actually beans on the plate). It was pure south of the border crap. Folks, I'm 54 and have never (and I mean NEVER) had food go down bad in my life as I have a cast iron stomach. But I had heart burn and stomach ache all the way back to work. I've eaten horse on Guam and kept it in check, but this swill was just too much.

So thanks, King's Wings for your lazy ass attitude and lack of pride of ownership that sent me to the worst food I have ever ingested in my life.
