At least that's what a Mavs announcer said last night. Kind of surprising, given that you tend to think of real bottom feeder teams when you think of that category.

Of course Lillard is a huge part of that. Still, when I look over the shitty production of our shitty bench and say shit shit shit, I can't help but wonder how many of these guys would be parked in the D-League for a couple of years of seasoning on a typical team.

Has our bench been thrown into the fire too soon, or should it just be thrown into the fire, period?
 
You are probably gonna think I'm completely out of my mind, but I actually think we still have hope with our other rookies. Barton is still very raw and I see him actually becoming a serviceable player off the bench. Leonard still has a few years before anything of significance can be noted. I really think Cavar will be a really good player in the league. He just needs to develop his shot and finishing around the rim. Defensively and handles are actually pretty darn good.
 
we don't really have a lot of veterans ergo we are forced to play our rookies.
