PowerPoint Question.....

Wife is trying to figure out how to get a video off a DVDRW into PowerPoint on a MAC. I'm assuming I can convert it to a QuickTime and drag it in. Anybody with experience with this that can help?

as long as you have the codec, it should work fine. but might not on another machine......

What the fuck does that mean? I have a MAC and they are using a MAC, so it should work as a Quicktime?

in theory, yes. try it. but when you actually try it, something could randomly get screwy along the way.

you might have to download another program like DIVX (which is a codec) for the video to embed and play properly within powerpoint though. Its just a precaution to ensure compatibility. If its a huge file it'll take forever to load.

try it out, if it doesn't work, download and install this and try again.
