9 days left in the season (counting today); each of the 3rd-10th place teams have either 4-5 games remaining. Lots is still up in the air. Below, I have each teams' records, remaining schedules, and h2h results vs the other 7. Review the info and make your best guess as to how you think the final order will shake out. No prize, just fun.

First two already set. Portland would have to collapse to lose #3 and that seems unlikely barring things I can't bring my fingers to type.
With Leonard returning, Aldridge playing very well, I think experience carries San Antonio, and their schedule is favorable.
Utah has three games vs losing teams, and last two GSW & Portland, both of whom might have position set in stone, so could rest players.
OKC chokes too much to move up. Tougher schedule as well.
Minny has the easier schedule but would need others to lose to climb. They could pass OKC but I just don't see it happening.
Pelicans will hang onto last spot. Denver has Minny twice, when the TWolves have something to play for. Sorry, Denver. Lottery bound.
Clippers no way can jump over two teams.

So playoff matchups: Houston/New Orleans (Pelicans sacrificial lambs)
Golden State/Minnesota (Unless GSW gets healthy they could be upset)
Portland/Oklahoma City (Get out the brooms)
San Antonio/Utah (Toss-up)

My $.02. But with inflation only a penny for my thoughts these days.

Boxes under San Antonio should be 1-1...they are blank

Played the "W-L" game and ended up with a very interesting result: Pelicans give up a 3-game lead with 3 games to play and lose the 8 seed to the Clippers on a tie-breaker. Crazier things have happened.

POR - W-L-L-W-L - 50-32
UTA - W-W-W-W-W - 49-33
SAS - L-L-W-W-W - 48-34
OKC - W-L-L-W - 47-35
MIN - L-L-W-W - 46-36
LAC - W-L-W-W-W - 45-37
-----------------------------------
NOP - W-W-L-L-L - 45-37
DEN - L-W-L-L-L - 43-39

Is he returning? I had not heard that.

As Bill Walton said: "It's all about who is the healthiest and the hottest come playoff time".

If Moe and Ed are at full strength when the playoffs start... this team will make the WCF.
