1. Bayless will struggle mightily playing PG, and by the end Mills will be the de facto point.
2. Cunningham will look more impressive than Pendergraph.
3. Portland's team will end with a losing record.

Bayless will try not to shoot as much and try to set up other guys. This squad has so many garbage players on it, he will just say fuck it and take over. He will end up scoring 25 points a game regardless!

if you don't think bayless is a "pg", you aren't going to be happy with mills playing that position either.

1. define "struggle mightily"
2. because he is
3. most likely

Prediction:

Mike Rice will call a game hungover or drunk

I will taunt Nate and KP after a late night drinking binge at the Voodoo Lounge, for not starting Bayless, and not trading Blake and Outlaw.

I will the apologize later in the day......to KP

Are you going to the games MM? I was considering it. Vegas is only a four hour drive for me. Also, the Voodoo Lounge is pretty tight, great view of Vegas even if off the strip.

Be honest...you created this thread solely to slag off Bayless as a point guard. ;)

If anything in summer league it is about the quality of the finishers than the PG skills. Defense is horrible in summer league, and over the last few years, players dropping passes has always been a bigger problem then having the defense get stops against you.

Bayless carried the team last year, he will do it again this year. This is his team.

I predict summer league won't matter at all.

1. No
2. No
3. Yes

Hey, 1 for 3 is a decent batting average, but it's not as good as a coin flip.

Bayless will break down his defenders and get into the paint with ease, but without Oden, Roy, or LMA to dish to, his assists will be low and his turn overs will be high. Because of that he will start to shoot more as his competiveness will take over and he will want to win. And since most fans will not be able to see the games this summer, they will look at the box score and come to the conclusion that he sucks as a PG.

Bayless will score plenty, but also make Pendergraph and Cunningham look like legitimate prospects. Both guys are experienced and have good hands and good low post/mid range games. I can see them running the pick and roll quite well.

In years past, the forwards had been all the scrubs, so only the guards were decent. Now there are some guy who should be able to get the ball and finish.

J-Bay: 20 pts, 7 asst, 4 reb, 1.5 stl

Patty Mills will break his foot

Bayless will swear and subsiquently sink 4 shots in a row

Martell will want to play, but still won't be cleared to run

Pendergraph will get 8 fouls in one game by beasting the shit out of people.

This will lead to much rejoicing in my household.

Bayless and Westbrook will one up each other for the MVP of the summer league.

And Bayless will unleash one nasty dunk, then scream at the top of his lungs, scaring children that in the first couple of rows.

Just call me Nostradamus! In a parallel world where Mills didn't break his foot, I got all three right. As it was I got 2 1/2. So why don't I feel happy about it?

Being right and being happy are sometimes mutually exclusive.
