Lol @ dames cuz

I wonder if Melo gets rested at all this preseason.

That makes more sense. I mean if Nurk can sit on the bench without a mask, you would think he would be out of any covid protocol.

I have to say i liked it at first.

Then i started listening for Melo. He is vocal.
Now i get mad when crowd noise blocks out enough to where i cant decipher his words.

listening to them on the court is somewhat new and to me, fascinating. I want more.
Screw the crowd noise. Gimme the player chat and smack talk!!

Problem i have with it is it isn't remotely timed correctly. They are screaming their heads off in the first quarter during a free throw.
During actual games there are highs and lows. This is just plain noise.

Since HCP has lost his job starting game threads, I wonder if he could be put to better use. I wouldn't be so against the phony crowd noise if they did a good job of it. Are they using actual crowd noise from previous games? If they are, they are really botching it. It just doesn't have right sound to it at the right times.

Replace the fake crowd noises with livestock noise. If the Blazers are losing in the 4th, switch to slaughterhouse sounds. Make sure to get film of Silver stroking out!

@Darkwebs
Question title i believe means "Artificial" crowd noise.

I cannot believe 9 people actually like that?
First off, they always play that artificial crowd noise, even when fans are there. Second, the energy in the broadcast would be dead without it. I like it.

Interesting to me is that Covington, Jones, Hood, and Trent are about the same size in length and weight (208-210 lbs) but will be playing a much different role.

I do understand why they are doing it and yes i agree that the energy would be very different probably even dead as you say. For that point i would also agree it serves a purpose.
However during games with fans they actually use it only during specific times. They play music and rally type sounds to get the crowd to react. Then they also use the video board to create atmosphere. The combination is welcome for the fan experience.
My problem is with the constant simple fake noise that seems to have absolutely no rhyme or reason to it they are playing even when play is at a stand still. That makes no sense to me.

Bottom line- If this is the only thing i have to complain about i really don't have any complaints. Glad they are playing and i have the Blazers to watch.

Why is Barclay centers setup so nice compared to other arenas during preseason? They have a bubble like setup, everything blacked out, enhanced lighting, looks dope. Should be mandatory during the regular season. Looks so much better
