I recall answering a question on this board, "Who will be the Democratic nominee for President in 2016?" a few months ago with "Barack Obama", and I was only half-joking. Well, it looks like some folks are taking the idea seriously:

Serrano proposed such bills during President Clinton’s term in 1997 and 1999, and during President George W. Bush’s terms in 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2007, as well.
