President Barack Obama called for the nation to unify at an interfaith memorial service at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center on Tuesday as Dallas, and the rest of the country, rebuilds after a mass shooting that left five Dallas police officers dead.
The Thursday shooting, which left 12 police officers and two civilians wounded, began at the close of a peaceful protest in downtown Dallas, in which hundreds of members of the community marched in protest to two officer-involved shootings throughout the country.
