It could become quite valuable some day. Especially if its one that was printed upon release.

Similar to the way people collect dolls and action figures and ish. They keep in the packaging and then have some that they actually open.

Just wondering AF, are there any artists/groups that have been recommended that you like now?

Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Nation
Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back

O.C. -- Jewelz one of the most underrated
Intelligent Hoodlum
Dr. Octagon
Grand Puba
Lords of the Underground

Not yet, I'm on my school laptop cause my regular computer is broken. So once I get a regular computer back is when I'll try and start getting this music, and right now since I'm in school and don't have a job so don't have the money to buy the albums. I'ma try to get some of them for christmas to.

I'll let yall know the results of the recommendations once I'm able to listen to most of them.

I did like one of your recommendations though, because I was able to find The Chronic in my Dads room with all of the other CD's. I'd have to say my favorite song on that album so far is lyrical gangbang, but Ain't Nothing But A G Thang is a classic to--plus the beat is so sick.

My older brother, who's 31 now, would never let me listen to the garbage, so I grew up always listening to the classics.

Just a small update

I got Ready To Die from my pops, I've heard most of the song on there considering the fact that my dad always used to play the album.

Nah for some reason he just liked Biggie......

Idk how he says LL Cool J is better than Biggie though, pops is crazy

Update: Instead of buying Kingdom Come I got Reasonable Doubt instead.

Good choice. I guarentee you'll be bumping Dead Presidents II a lot.

Liquid Swords is rediculous

Damn. I remember back when we first got the Hip Hop forum, I was telling everyone to go and cop Liquid Swords. Glad to see someone listened. Now you can see why I call GZA my favorite member of the Wu-Tang

One of the best songs ever.

What are KRS-One's good albums?

Thanks, because I have access to his Discography. lol

edit: Damn it, the link to Criminal Minded was dead.

Have you seen that on RGF Chutney?

There was some thread with classic debut albums. I think I saw it there, although I never checked if the link worked.
