Neat story broMight be the stupidest thing I've ever heard, Mags. Deepok-like gobbledygook appeal to emotionalism.
Well yeah!!!! I think he was clearly stating he doesn't know science. I was hoping you guys would look at the metaphors, not the absolutes. It's just a dude who doesn't understand science trying to fit his religion into the contest of the science he doesn't understand. It doesn't make sense, but he also just seems like a nice guy who is full of wonder. I bet i'd have a good time chatting with him, but his logic is still flawed.
I don't know, it would be so awesome to be linked with each and every conscious thing in this universe. I think it's pretty coolOne reality/consciousness stance is annoying. Without "ego" this is no different than oblivion.

In his eyes, and anyone watching, would already know that isn't substantial evidence. The trouble is it's NOT just a metaphor. If you listen to the whole thing he effectively claims quantum mechanics is evidence supporting what Christians already believe.

The idea of this video was using something in science that can apply to the concept of God. Those that don't believe in God, can take it for what it's worth. But those that actually believe in God can appreciate the concept of entanglement and how it relates to being one with God.
And???? Do you believe him? He's using evidence from objective reality to validate a belief about objective reality - saying "look, reality appears to be a certain way, so we Christians should feel better about our belief that it is a certain way".
In his eyes what he's saying is entirely substantive. He's just calling it a "metaphor" to excuse the fact that he self-admittedly doesn't have a clue what he's talking about when it comes to science.

Example: Her hair flowed like the American flag flapping through the wind.
