I think its pretty safe to assume that the playoffs are just not happening again for the Yankees this year, so I was wondering if any of you have a 2nd team that you enjoy watching that will keep you following the playoffs?

As most of you know I have my San Francisco Giants. I believe Rob (being from California) has the Dodgers. Anyone else?

...I'll go with the team I picked when the season began...the Angels. But KC is fun to watch too.

I'd go with the Royals in the AL & the Pirates & Cardinals in the NL

I'll root hard against the Cards, Giants, Angels and Tigers...and pull for Buck Showalter.
Go Buck!

I wanna' see Donnie BB win his Series Ring....

Mattingly- the next best thing to NY in P.S. is at least: an ex-Yankee Captain, and Defensive Legend, (for a short time an Offensive one too)..... may have a legitimate shot at a Ring, 2nd best thing to NY winning another.

A word to the Wise: keep your cash in your pockets as: (I already had de boyz pay off the commish, the Black Sox are still alive and Pete Rose is taking those Bets in Vegas)..... hang onto your Lunch Money-"word to ya' motha'...."

A Freeway Series? Or- A Bay Series? A Midwest Series, KC, Milwaukee, Cards, Pirates, Tigers? A Pacific Coast Series? Or-least likely? A Atlantic East Coast Series?

No second team for me, I will show interest in the playoffs and series but I'm not going to get all rah, rah and claim 've always been a huge fan of the eventual winner.

I've been a Giant fan almost as long as I've been a Yankee fan because the man who ran the place where I was raised went to school with Willie McCovey & got me an autograph picture of him on a trip to San Francisco. I was hooked.

I remember the Giants final two in New, York, ditto the Dodgers in Brooklyn. Might be cool to see the Giants come back to New York but that means the Mets would have to move and I wouldn't wish the Mets on anyone.

I would love to see Donnie B win one as well, but not with Puig or Beckett (I know he's on the 60-day DL, but he would still get a ring)

i just want to watch Girardi's "MOY" acceptance speech, do you think he will forget the Boss too?

Pasta just curious, if the boss were still running things, what would he have done differently that would have helped. Be serious.

And re-upping the opt out clauses of both A-Rod & CC didn't help things.

first off, no way with this payroll yankees not be in PS 2 years in row, if he were still here cashman would not have picked up garbage like drew, coaches would have been fired, and the clubhouse would have been turned upside down... you think the boss would tolerate. lets say the offense was as bad, you think we would see players running into outs nite after nite, the lack of fundemantals alone cost this team at least 10 games.. robertson would not be the closer.... i got more, but lets start with this... oh and no days off!!! what is it with girardi and days off, these guys play for 6 months....

...lol...yeah, and players would never have been suspended for PEDs...and players would never have been injured.

there is an imposter on board, cause the real 59 would never sign of with a response like this, cause the real 59 would know the catostrophic injuries were to pitchers, and the replacements did just as good a job as any of the starters, except tanaka... and as far as the peds statement, upper lip to nose my face goes to this... aroid????? u referinng to aroid, aroid, u r talkin about aroid... aroid?? ohhhhhh man aroid? we talkin about aroid????? spichhhhhhhhhhh!!! com mon mannnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!

...^^^yes, because pitchers are not considered as players. [shakes head in disbelief, and walks away]

Bush in hand, no use to bird.

OK, I got this pasta thing figured out.

Someone forgot their twice daily Thorazine shots....! Sad, they let monster loose in public....Bellevue you gotta' pick up...!
