A tough, prolific Ranger scorer during the worst managed
hockey organization of the 50s and 60s. Rangers needed
youth so they traded him to Toronto Maple Leafs where
he won his only Stanley Cup.
On bad Ranger teams this guy was a powerful force with
very little help from teammates. During those days the
Rangers could not even put 3 lines, let alone 4 lines, on
any given night.
Mmmm. Things do not change with this organization.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the Rangers trade Lundqvist to
a contender so he can win a Stanley Cup! (I know.......
blasphemy...lol) and,
when will Rangers have 4 solid lines. No team can win
a SC with 3 lines.
