The Republicans are asleep at the wheel and lousy politicians.
They now control both houses and still can't figure out how to play the public relations game on the national level.
The people/voters can be informed and some WILL be convinced and/or influenced to their (Republican) side of various issues.
Keep in mind there are probably millions of Americans for whatever reasons who do not research or read up on the issues➡ quick slogan-like sound bytes is the ticket!

Say what you want about Harry Reid but he was an expert at the 10-15 second sound byte making his Party look like the good guys and the other side the meanies who don't care about "the people".

The Republican leadership and ranking members of both houses have got to learn how and continuously give quick concise comments about how their policies or bills would help the economy,people, create jobs and of course national security and why the White House is standing in the way and not willing to work with them.

They should do this every chance they get whenever they come across a newsperson reporter. Keep hammering away.

One or two quick, concise well stated comments.
Most of the Democrats are better at this than Repubublicans.

I do hope your not serious, and this is either:
1- a test to see who's asleep

2- a debate not worth having, which has been had before. I'm sure your aware, for each move their is a counter move.

I'd guess #1, cause their is NO Way you can defend Harry Reid's antics, of being a dam for a a possible huge water resource, for Millions of People extreme thirst and dehydration, but a day or 2 away from either dieing, or living on the street.

If it were not #1, then I'd have to say I pass. My Grandfather used to tell me, there are 2 things in life you just don't discuss in public. 1-Religion, 2- Politics. I have seen for more than 50 decades why Grand-Pa, said as much.

If so, I'm not gonna' argue, debate, waste energy & brain cells, on this issue. Talk of beating a dead horse.
Plus, this all would set me off, to write a Novel, which is damn near inevitable, to restrain from as much, in simple rebutting the post in its entirety. (other than if it were a joke, which it could be).

Pelosi, Hillary, and dozens of others, are hollow heads. YOu indeed can see light coming out of their opposite ear, when you put a light into the other. "We got to pass this bill, before we can know what is in it" Nancy brain dead Pelosi.

That's as much as you'll get on this subject, and I'm not biting. The Last Great White Hope of a Democratic Presidential Candidate, was RFK. Sad, when the Mule Party, has not shit out a Politician as young, more than qualified, compassionate, open, a great listener. Loved to be challenged by new ideas, concepts. Anything to work on to better this Nation as a whole. That great Man is gone, and I'll never forget the day he was shot, as I live less than an hour from the Ambassador. Shit, not to tip my hand, but I recall clearly JFK's, day with death, as I lived in Shreveport, but 2 hours away. We often had to drive by Dealy Plaza thereafter in our travels.
 
The Republicans are terrible politicians.
The 2016 presidential election could be the last chance for a Republican to win the white house for a long time.

I'll let anyone who cares figure out why.

Matt, you're too long winded and rambling to reach the usual, casual opinionated voter....just like the Republican Party.

The others don't need it....they have the time, ability, reading skills and willingness to find "things" out. Okay?
