Rafael Nadal withdraws from Open

Rafael Nadal withdrew from the U.S. Open on Wednesday, sidelined by the knee tendinitis that has kept him out of action since his stunning loss at Wimbledon in late June.

This is a shame, Nadal is so ridiculously talented, but the constant injuries are preventing him from competing at the level he's capable of.
