One of my friends told me Rakim signed to G-Unit. Has anyone esle heard this? I'll lock up the thread if it's not true... I just want to know if anyone else had any information on this subject.

Do rappers ever stay retired though?

I hope to God he doesn't go to G unit.

Since we're on a Rakim topic, can some one give me a Rakim song to listen to? I wanna get into some way old school rap.

No competition

I caught ya, you shoulda brought ya neighborhood to support ya"

G-Unit Soldiers for Life - Rakim

"Rakim signed to the unit, on top of the ranks.
Next up there is 50, Yayo, Buck and Banks"

Oh god Rakim say it isn't so.

Btw is Mobb Deep still with G-Unit?

He was with Aftermath at one point, but he left due to creative differences.

Nah Rakim is not on G-Unit.

There is/was rumors that he was going to be distributed by Talib Kweli's label.

he's not with G-Unit...but he does have a lot of respect for them (why I don't know...)
