Would they do it (to save $3M this year, 6.25M total)? Would we do it (to turn a 3rd string center into a backup SF)? Is he worth it (since he's been a headcase, and his PER has dropped every year)? Am I crazy for even thinking about this?

Beasly is one of those "hmmmm" players. Tremendous talent, just not all up there in the head. But... Sometimes swinging for the fences may include some headcases (Damon, sheed, etc) could take you over. I would really think about it

No. Beasley is garbage. I'd pay Freeland to be a good soldier on the bench instead of Beasley.

We know that Beasley is going to be a jackass. While the chances are slim, Freeland could improve.

Beasly has shot worse every year of his career. The guy shows no want to improve his game at all and he is a grade-A dumbass. So as much as Freeland is a dud he doesn't screw with the teams chemistry.

Don't we pretty much know what Be-Easy is at this point?

All I need to do is ask myself one simple question: "Would this player ever contribute to the Blazers winning a championship?" When I close my eyes and try to visualize this, I'm almost instantly wracked with maniacal laughter.

The problem is that the answer to your question is the same for Freeland.
