And once again somehow this is Quinn's fault huh mel? Your boys Lafreniere and Kakko played 17 minutes and 18:30. The goalie played fine, but let in a soft goal. They played neck and neck, once again, with one of the best teams in the NHL, and somehow that's on Quinn. Laughable again, and predictable.

And one other thing mel, you would have a lot more credibility with me if you even once called out your boy Kreider. The guy has ZERO assists in 13 games...ZERO. He's on pace for 25 points, and has the worst +/- on the team. Outside of 2 or 3 games you wouldn't even know he is playing.

Now I am sure you couldn't give two sh*ts about getting credibility with me, but that's the truth. I didn't like the signing when it was made, and I will again say that one will come back to hurt us. 6.5 mill for 7 years is going to be tough. In year 1 he is the same old disappearing man.

And just so you know chuck the so called soft goal Igor let in was because instead of riding his man out of the play and nothing happening lindgren was standing at the side of the net picking his ass and didn’t take care of business. I know you think Quinn is gonna be the coach of the year this season but your the only one. Will we ever score another PP goal this season?? Yes, I do think Kreider will score his usual 25 goals, and add nothing else. Disappear for 60% of the games. Get very few assists. And simply not add much outside of scoring an okay amount of goals. Certainly not 6.5 mill worthy. And once again blaming others for your guys failures, predictable from you. Kreider has zero assists and the worst +/- on the team because of his line mates. Okay.

As for Quinn, as I have written 500 times, I am not sure he is the guy to lead us when we are ready to win, but right now he has done nothing to deserve getting fired. The team way overachieved last year. They are the youngest team in the NHL this season, had no training camp, and after a slow inconsistent start have played reasonably well the past handful + of games. Those are my thoughts on Quinn, and guess what...that is fair.

As for the goal tonight, again excuses from you. It was a bad goal. Igor played really well overall, but that was a soft goal...period.

And even on a night where your boys play big minutes, you still find a way to blame Quinn and make it about him. You are a one trick pony mel. The reason you blame Quinn changes based on the nit picky thing you can point out in a specific game, but the trick always is blame Quinn no matter what. Good times.

Agreed on Z. I gave him a pass due to Covid, but now enough is enough. He was okay last game, couldn't finish, but overall he needs to be much better and wake up. There is something up with him now. Has to be mental and in his own head. And he's been bad on FO's as well. He needs to get it going, and soon.

Still trying to find out more info on the guy the FQKs want as a replacement for a coach with a record over .500 who needs to be fired anyway because he's a poophead. Surely Kris Knoblauch isn't your final answer . Another tightly played game by the young Rangers against arguably the best team in the NHL right now but for some it's all lemons. What are you looking for in a head coach? Quinn certainly motivates the team and he has played as much young talent as management will give him. Should Quinn don Mika's jersey in the 3rd and unleash an accurate slapshot or two? The bottom line is 2 of the top line vets on the Rangers are shitting the bed instead of providing leadership.

Shesterkin's goal was not soft. It's one of those fluke plays where the guy found a hole the size of a puck. He basically saved our sorry asses all night. He just made it look easy. Chuck watches games with his eyes closed. I swear. Right now all the teams the Rangers are playing are playing playoff type hockey. They try to win every game 3-2, 2-1, 1-0. In order for young kids to score you need a real coach, a real system and centers who actually don't suck. Strome sucks. Zibanejad has played like a reject all season. JD and Gorton better get off their ass and find a way to bring a real center talent in here to replace Strome or this season is over.

Even when facts were shown about them being an above average team on O last season, not good enough. Maybe Quinn should take over the bodies of Z and Kreider and make them score. Then we'd be good on O.

Like I keep telling you kreids will perform and have the same goals and points he always has. Z man taking 8 shots and having 6 blocked merits a benching as could anyone play worse than he is. As much as you keep pushing buch the only thing he’s done offensively in the last dozen games besides getting his ass destroyed in a fight is 1 itty bitty empty net goal. The defense to me is credit to our new defense I e coach as nothing else has changed coaching wise on D. Sometimes you need to change a coach like Quinn who looks offensively inept at this point just to give the team a different direction. His still changing lines every 5 minutes does nothing to give the players any continuity. If nothing changes I guess we’ll look forward to another million 1 goal losses where we can say we’re competitive and we try hard. The lack of men comment I’m sure is going over well in his locker room. Don’t understand why Barron is not up here already playing and gaining confidence as we are going nowhere with this coach, howden sucks ass and the nhl doesn’t give participating trophy’s out as far as I know. Since this season for all intents and purposes is gone already get a new coach in here now and use the rest of the season to install his system so next season we are ready to roll from the start. Right now all the losing has to be getting into the rangers heads. And dump is right. He sits the kids for mistakes but never the vets. He should sit z man, kreids, buch howden etc for a game but he never does. The lesser players like Rooney, Blackwell and de g are giving greater effort than our supposed stars. That needs to change or we will continue to be virtually unwatchable. And since our PP sucks ass anyway time to get KAKKO and lafrenniere on the first PP every time. And add to them the breadman when healthy, Miller and kreids in front. Z man until he starts playing better and gets a haircut doesn’t deserve shit, strome who is soft as a marshmallow should be glued to the pp bench. Fox is terrific but for whatever reason he spends so much time on top passing up shot after shot and passing to the corners for useless shots that K’ANDRE who has a hard shot and lets it fly would be better right now. The PP which hasn’t scored in a month can’t be any worse. Change things up already coach. Sorry for the long rant but I just had my coffee!

How anyone didn't see that this season was over BEFORE it started is beyond me. This team was never going to compete with Phi, Bos, Was, Pit, NYI. If this team manages to finish in 5th/6th that is a successful season. They are young, moderately talented and are playing against superior teams the entire season. Accept that, get through the next 40+ games and hope no one suffers a serious injury. Acquire a legit #1 center because let's face it, as much as it pains me to say it, Zibanejad is proving to NOT be a true #1 center, between now and the start of camp in 2021. Let's hope Igor continues to play well. Let's hope the young players develop and see what they can do in 2021-22.

Grevy, some good points. I just think if we can lose all these games by 1 we can win them also. I think Boston, Philly and the caps are clearly better although we can compete with them. The isles who we swept last year and are offensively worse than us and Pittsburgh who we should have beat all 4 games already handing them 3 of those games are teams I thought we could displace in the 4 hole. We’re still only a point or 2 out of that spot. It’s time management makes the move for a center now and enables this team to make a run at that 4th playoff spot.
