Hilarious reading a Flyers board. They hope the Rangers destroy them. They hate the team and the coach. LOL

I believe I said Hunt had no offense of ability who else should I badmouth to turn them into a 30 goal scorer

Kakko is coming. He should have had two points last game. The Flyers are quitting on AV it’s obvious

A game misconduct for that? An awful call.

Yeah I thought he should’ve got a game he had plenty of time to not hit him he saw his back for a little while

Igor just telling teams to go F themselves at this point.

Holy shit Igor with those saves on the flyer's power play. That was like Mike Richter/Henrik's type of goaltending.

Not a very good last 10 minutes. Big pk to start the 3rd.

Good win. That's exactly what you do against a struggling team.

They just keep on winning, 2 points out of 1st and the youth continue to improve. I thought Hunt deserved the 5, looked like he even left his feet a little but guarantee a similar hit to any Ranger would be 2 with no review. Philly has a pretty weak roster made worse by AV so the Rangers did what they had to do. Rooney gets robbed of a goal on a phantom offsides call too. Igor has been ridiculous, his ability to handle the puck makes him that much better.

I agree a tough call on hunt but now that he's become a top line player and is playing well while up there there's a time and a place for that type of hit and at the time he did it rangers had game under control and there was no need. He deserved a penalty. Unfortunately for him it drew blood and to the head that's an automatic five. Don't think he should have been thrown out for that but I don't know what leeway the ref has or hasn't in that situation. I don't know about you guys but I love looking forward to ranger games now and enjoy than more than I have in a long time. This team is competitive pretty much every game now and getting better. Imo in Igor we have the best goalie in hockey. The bread man has woken up and now just need zman to start putting pucks in the net. And the first time in a while they won a game on my birthday, number 67. I still think unless Drury is showcasing Lundqvist for some kind of incoming trade he's overmatched up here and Schneider should be up here along with jones. Also love gallant not taking any shit from the refs and calling them out on some of these questionable calls to be kind unlike our past bubblegum and the comatose former coaches!

Lundkvist isn't overmatched at all. If you notice, the second PP unit is flourishing now. He's a big part of it. His passing is pinpoint. He's played 16 games with a crap d partner and he's a +1. That being said, it's unfortunate for him that Fox is incredible, Schneider is the stud we need to win playoff games and he's the same size as Fox. Trouba is playing his best hockey here now. However, faceoffs are a huge issue still. Especially if we have to face a team like Toronto in the playoffs. Strome is a heaping pile of crap on faceoffs. Personally, I think Chytil is going to go in a deal. The move that makes the most sense would be to move Strome from a cap perspective. However, I don't think Panarin would react well to that. I'm thinking Miller more and more is going to be brought back. I don't see having to offer much more than Chytil and Lundkvist for Miller. Maybe throw in Hajek. That's it. No picks.

I would make them take back Georgiev to get some money off the payroll now. Miller has one more year on his contract. I think Strome after this year is in for a rude awakening. He's going to want a long term deal and he's not getting one. Not when you can't win more than 42% of your faceoffs. He's a huge liability in that area. If they acquired Miller, I would assume they would do everything to lock him up. The only other thing I can think of is have Panarin or Hunt or whatever wing is on his line take faceoffs. Ideally, if Barron was on that line, he could take all the draws. Hunt would have to be removed unless he can win faceoffs.

Dump, fox is 5’11” 183lbs and Schneider is 6’2” 210lbs. Schneider is a lot bigger and would really add to this team as soon as he gets up here.

You read it wrong. It was that Lundkvist was the same size as Fox. Read it again. LOL. I didn't put the sentence together too well. The first part of the sentence was talking about Lundkvist to go with that last part.

Happy Birthday Mel! You’ve been suffering with this organization much much longer than most of us

oops. Sorry!

I didn’t write the sentence very clearly. Either way who gives a shit the Rangers have more players that can make an NHL roster than they know what to do with. Managing the cap is going to be tricky the next couple years.

I just got excited. I’m watching the isles game and I noticed micheletti doing color. Hopefully he stays with isles and Brendan does the rangers games with Butch

Everything I've read about Lundqvist says he isn't going anywhere and that GG is happy with his progress. I agree about being excited on game day, GG was a great hire for this team. He has done a great job motivating the team and adding grit seemed to be the recipe for success. There is nothing wrong with having so many potential prospects waiting in the minors for a chance. Quinn did an interview recently and was asked about the Rangers situation. He said management felt he overachieved with the team yet they fired him anyway with JD and Gorton and that the 3 had planned to add grit players the following year. Personally I thought Quinn was put in a tough situation with the soft lineup, he played in Boston and understood the team needed to be tougher but didn't have the manpower to get it done.

Quinn was a fucking idiot. He changed lines every fucking game. He never stuck with Gauthier and played a low talent scrub in Blackwell. He had zero balls to take on any of the vets. Gallant already has told Zibanejad to shut the fuck up with the refs. Like Quinn w0uld ever do that.
