Rap Battle Sign Up Thread

Due to popular demand, the Rap Battle sign-up thread is up and running. If you are an MC, or if you would just like to give it a nice shot, please sign up here. I'll see what I can do to get some rap battles started, but we need as much participants as possible. You've got nothing to lose, so why not give it a try?

Please remember that the JBB Guidelines are still in effect during these "battles". The first person to step over the line will cause the thread to be deleted, and nobody will ever battle rap on here again.

Yeah. Everyone still needs to follow the guidelines. This seems like a great idea, and I don't want to see it get ruined. Also, I think the rap battles will be chosen at random. But let's not worry about it now, because we still need to get more people.

Hey guys, if we do get enough members signed up to run this, I was thinking of doing it in a playoff type format. Whoever loses gets eliminated, and whoever wins advances to the next round. Sounds good?

Just keep in mind:

- I've never attempted to rap before.
- I started listening to psychadelic music more than rap back in high school.
- I'll probably be way too formal because I'm used to writing posts, articles, papers, etc.

So I should definitely be a lower seed, maybe the lowest, if we decide on a tournament format.

With that aside though, I'll try my best.

That's alright Voodoo. It's cool that your trying out. Remember, all you have to do is write rhymes. I know its easier said than done, but you should do fine.

I can think up rhymes. That's not the problem. The problem is that when I write them down, I sound more like Dr. Suess than Dr. Dre. Thanks for the encouragement though.

It'll probably be 2 or 3 days for every battle, and a max of 10 lines posted. I dont know, its all very confusing right now, I'll see if I can organize it up. Maybe you can help me? I dont know if I will be able to run all this alone when school starts.
