There was no rape alleged even in the police report by the complainant. Why would you call this a "rape" case? Even the complainant says she wasn't raped, but instead was disrespected. Even local prosecutors and police in Portland have said there is nothing in that report that would cause an arrest.

I think dismissing them was the right thing to do. Whether charges will be brought or not is not the point. It's, if nothing else, their total disrespect of this woman and using her state of intoxication to abuse her.
