Rapper Kurtis Blow says not all police are racist — the LAPD saved his life

Kurtis Walker — who went by the moniker Kurtis Blow during his rap career in the ’80s — says four LAPD cops gave him CPR and brought him back to life at a bus stop in Canoga Park on Friday.

"I died and those officers saved my life," Walker, 57, said in a press release posted by LAPD. "The police saved my life, a black man. In this day and age, people need to hear that."
