Like the song vs song game, just post two rappers then the next person picks who the like better or who they think is better.

Kanye West vs T.I.

Kanye, more originality from song to song.

Talib Kweli or Common.

Talib Kweli. Like both, but I think Kweli is better.

Eminem or Dr.Dre

Dre. Eminem has talent but I feel like he could do better to push himself and reach his potential.

MF Doom vs Viktor Vaughn

I find it laughable that you call Dre a better rapper, when he doesn't even write his own lyrics.

This is actually news to me! Not even the Chronic?

Yeah, Dre has ghost writers. Eminem, Royce da 5'9", and many others

You didn't know that? I hate rap, and I knew that.

lol Dr. Dre people don't even consider Dre a rapper, he's a producer who has ish written for him, and there is no way in hell he is better than Em.

and you do know V. Vauhn is MFs alter alias right? lol. MF

the GZA vs Prodigy

GMJigga.

My Brother.

Learn some more about rap. ;-) haha

no no no I knew that! thats why I put the smiley next to it! I don't think its possible to have heard about Vik without knowing his identity. I was just curious which 'guy' people prefered.

But kudos for referencing drunken posts

yeah I haven't listened to VV yet. So it's MF.

how come this isn't in hip hop?

Haha I'm just messing with you bro. :-)

The Game, don't like either much but gotta go with The Game.

KRS-One or Rakim.

Rakim. He's a better lyricist and you can just get caught up in how complex and perfect his rhymes are. I like KRS, but sometimes that whole "teacher" persona can get boring.

Busta Rhymes or Method Man?

Method Man just because he's one of my favorites, (busta is too but meth is better, i know that sounds bad haha meth lol)

Tupac or Biggie

2Pac, he completely revolutionzed rap.

Common vs. Kanye West

Common and its not even close

Murs vs. Slug

Maybe I'm a bit biased against his production, but for every song that is meaningful and deep, theres 3 that are just about stupid things. There are just so many Eminem songs that are a pain to listen to

Its more than just about stupid things, its his wordplay, multies, flow, delivery, humour etc. etc. I hate all of the "slim shady" related songs with a passion, but they still offer somthing.

I agree, Em has so much talent to have better records out there but he doesn't do them.

I too pick Dre over Em. Dre is my favorite rapper/producer of all time. Everything about him I like. And with everyone he works becomes big. (xzibit, em, 50 cent, game, and many more)

I'm waiting for Joell Ortiz to explode, but I don't think thats gonna happen...with how hip-hop is today.

I liked Xzibit much more before Dre began producing for him (even though I liked Restless).

Dre is part of the Four Fathers of Rap. Up there with Eazy-E etc. N.W.O revoulotionised rap and without DRE. Eminem would never have been Discovered then 50 wouldn't have been discovered

Murs by a country mile.

Eminem would've made it big either way, he was already doing his thing before he met Dre, Dre just helped give him his break. He may not have been as big as he ended up being today, but he would've made it eventually. A white MC with that much talent, there is no denying it really. Still love watching Eminem get murked by Juice in a battle, Em had nothing.

You cant say Dre > Eminem though, as a producer, yes, easily, no doubt about it, from a rapper perspective, Eminem shits all over Dre in every way possible, its not even a question, Em > Dre. As mentioned earlier, Dre doesnt even write his own lyrics, Eminem and Hittman writes/wrote alot of the newer stuff and Ren and Ice Cube did most of his N.W.A stuff if I recall correctly (I may be wrong). Same went for Eazy, although he was never a talented MC anyway.

Anyway... new rappers...
