Where would you sign him? Would we be able to see it if he was wearing a tank top?I would love to sign Sheed
Sheed is 6'11.... I sincerely hope he can still dunk.
Ex NBA all star flexing and posing for making plays in rec league?
That's just sad.
As much as I would like to see him bringing some nasty to Vonleh and Alexander, I can't forgive him for tossing the towel at Sabas. I will pass.
...I am pretty sure Sheed was simply praising Sabas for his intense defensive effort out there and offered him a towel to help wipe the sweat that was pouring out of the big fella. They are best buds to this day and likely exchange Christmas cards with each other's family. Get over it, Sabas did!
Are you pulling this out of your a$$? I can't tell if this is a tortured joke or you really believe it.

I already loved Bill Walton, but that hyperbole just made me love him more.
As far as i know he's got a job in the Pistons' training\coaching staff and he contributed to Andre Drummond's development.
What development is that? Drummond hasn't improved since his rookie year and actually regressed slightly from year 2 to year 3. Perhaps he's adopted Sheed's steadfast refusal to work on his game, or his conditioning, during the offseason.

Sheed was hired at the summer of 2013 and Dre showed progress at 2013-2014 (PPG,FG%,RPG etc...) and i don't give 2shits about "normalizing his rookie numbers to 32 minutes" because it's irrelevant.
Thugs need thug coaches
Sheed got so many unfair techs as a Blazer playing against great post players. He actually was right most of the time. A lot of his tech fouls came from Donaghy who was betting on games. Over time it was ridiculous. He bet before games on giving Sheed tech fouls. Shaq would put his hand on Sheed's face and dunk, getting an +1. He was snubbed for multiple allstar games and said he'd rather have time off but I felt it weighed on him. I followed his game when he left Portland and to a man, every teammate he had and coach he had praised his game. He even visited his teammates in Detroit after he was signed by Boston. The towel throwing or clowning in practice is overblown. Sabo was a great talent but a sullen guy who didn't even like to speak English much. We don't know what tension was between him and Sheed around the incident. All in all, I have always been a fan of Sheed's game. Walton is a blow hard. If he thought he'd punch Sheed, he would have had his clock cleaned
I watched Sheed's career pretty closely and toward the end, he did get loose but it was accumulative frustration and I believe he never got fair treatment. Donaghy reffed a million games and admitted he planted techs on Sheed all the time. Read his book and it is an eye opener for the unfair era when Sheed was a Blazer. I trusted Dick Bavetta, but superstars like Shaq got away with murder, actually so did Michael JordanDude... If you've never given a Tech then you gotta GTFO on this one. The only one you actually know shouldn't have been given was the one where he's staring at the ref (really a complete bullshit tech). But take it from someone who's given countless techs, Sheed probably deserved at least 90% of those.
