Ratner: "We will build Atlantic Yards"

The year 2018 is the prediction for the entire project, with all the apartment and office buildings, etc.

The Barclays Center itself was/is projected to be finished around 2010.

lol ok thanks I don't really follow what's happening with the project I just hope it comes through by 2010..

The groundbreaking needs to happen by the fall for 2010 to be a possibility. The Prudential, new yankee stadium, and Citi field would all have taken 2 years to finish. Any other delays and the date will be pushed back to 2011 or later.

I don't see this being ready by 2010 if this is the top of the line arenas.
