that dude is weird and scary looking.

And it's the All-Star game. It's cool when a Blazer makes it but it's still a pointless exhibition game.

Agree. 6 days is an awful long time without the Blazers. But it is only 6 days. The players can use the break.

No Kobe, no CP3, no Roy....will be weird.

the dunk contest turns more "set up" every year.

Just come out and say it: Slam Dunk Contest is fixed.

Last years' all star game had a perfect finish: Lebron James going for a monstrous, uncontested dunk (nobody was really playing/caring anymore) to BLOW EVERYONE AWAY..........and he muffs it.

Then why even bother with the regular season? Its not like blazers are even close to winning.

Without the regular season, we would be getting pumped full of propoganda. When statements have to be backed up on the court, they get alittle more realistic. The guys that are going to be here for a run at title have to start showing their worth.

No Blazer respect or player votes. I'm not watching it this year. I could care less.

Its just a money making fiesta for the NBA. When you sell tickets at hundreds to thousands of dollars apiece and then you move it to a football stadium just so you can seat more people for a completely meaningless, and usually boring game, you know what it is about. To make it worse, the all stars are not true all stars (it's more of a peoples favorite contest), the dunk contest has blown ass for years, I can play horse in my local hoop venue and have more fun than watching it on TV, and the skills contest is basically about how fast you can dribble around a couple of obstacles (oh whoopie).

Lets face it. This is just about the NBA making money and having a big party.

The daytime stuff on Saturday like broadcasting the All-Star practices and the HORSE competition is pretty lame.. I like watching the 3-point contest, and I don't mind the dunk contest. It's fun to see what happens, and it was cool to see Rudy in it last year ... hoping he wouldn't embarrass himself.

But the All-Star game I couldn't care less about. Hear the same shit about the players not taking it seriously for 3.5 quarters, until they feel like it with 3-4 mins left in the game.
