I grew up with someone who claimed they were related to an NFL QB (Chris Miller? I think...not sure if the person was full of shit and this WAS like 1992 or something).

Hello everyone, I just filmed this video on Sunday August 11th in Portland, OR on the Steel Bridge. First footage of a model in Lingerie ever on that bridge. Drafted by the Braves, asked for a trade because Bob Gibson (the pitching coach for the Braves at the time) wanted him to change his mechanics. Ended up getting traded to the Cardinals where he was one of their main relievers for years and pitched in 2 World Series'. Then finished with the Blue Jays where he won a WS with them and got a ring.

He's still recognized when he goes out in public sometimes in the St. Louis area. He's a legend in The Dalles. He went to U of P and was drafted 3rd in 81' draft behind Daryl Strawberry and some other dude.

Have a couple other cousins that played minor league ball.

Also, my mom grew up right next to AC Green in North Portland and was really good friends with him and his brother.

I know David Lucas (son of Maurice, big deal for me). I know Steve Johnson. I know Germany's best known winemaker (he's considered one of the best in the world). I know many celeb winemakers (though it means little to most of you). My friend is married to a long-term KGW reporter. I'm good friend with a few peeps that are well-known rappers in the local scene. My friend is partial owner in one of the best-known local burger joints. I know the best OSU receiver (I also know the Reser's and have season tickets for knowing them). My wife's aunt dated Oscar de la Hoya.

Janica has won 4 Olympic gold medals. Ivica won 3 Olympic silver medals.

Met them in 2009 at Steamboat for a family function during the early World Cup season. May be meeting up with Ivica at Mt. Bachelor in February, since he's never been there, and wants to ski it.

You say you went to school in Salem. Crossler Middle School perhaps? Darrell Crossler is famous, they named a school after him.
