Matthews and Klay have similar games (before Achilles). 3pt shooters with a decent mid range game and good defense (Klay with his length/Wes with his strength).

CJ and Klay are not comparable as one is a combo guard and the other is a more traditional wing player.

If I had a choice for THIS team though stylistically it's Klay.

Considering their salaries, I'd be tempted to take CJ + cap space... but I'm not sure I would. It's close, though.

With time already invested alongside Dame? I'll stick with CJ, thanks.

Offensively, CJ by a hair. He's more skilled and versatile. Klay without a PG like Curry is probably noticeably less effective. CJ can get his own shots or play off of someone like Dame. Klay is better on defense thanks to his size.
