Sean Evans (seven rebounds, three steals), Justin Holiday (six rebounds, two steals) and Coby Karl (11 assists) each scored 17 points, but the Stampede offense sputtered late in the fourth quarter and in overtime in a 102-100 loss to the Reno Bighorns. Idaho (10-21) scored just 17 points in the fourth quarter and additional three minutes of overtime.
Jerome Jordan had 21 points and 11 rebounds for Reno (13-18), while Tajuan Porter had 18 points and eight assists. Dar Tucker added 18 points and Samardo Samuels had 16 points, 10 rebounds.
Idaho led by 11 points entering the fourth quarter, but couldn't hold the lead after the Bighorns tied it at 93 on a Porter jump shot. Reno took the lead with another Porter jumper before two Durrell Summers free throws (15 points, seven rebounds) tied it to go into the extra period. In overtime, Idaho made just 1-of-5 shots, and just 2-of-4 free throws.
Solomon Alabi had 12 points, seven rebounds and four blocks, while Justin Harper added 10 points off the bench. There were 15 lead changes and 12 times tied in the contest, which saw the Stampede attempt 101 field goals, a season-high, due in part to just eight turnovers.
