We lost a grand Blazers fan today. Goodbye brother we will miss you. Where you are the Blazers will always be 98-0.

What?!? Oh damn, that's so sad. I just saw him at the forum get together last year.

RIP Gambitnut! You will be missed!

Guh! Whuh? :sigh:

Man I will miss you Gambit. You Blazers lovin' Free Geek Son-of-a-Gun!

:smiley-sadbye:

Sad to hear this. Gambitnut was a fine Blazer fan. Rest in peace, my friend.

Peace in the big pinwheel in the sky! End of an era! If only could have lasted until we win the championship this year. RIP

What was his actual name!? I remember meeting him at a couple of forum GTG's & he was a SUPER-NICE guy!

R.I.P. Gambitnut

The Blazers heaven fan team now has their starting PG.

A Tip of The Cap to a Real American, and a very enthusiastic Blazers Fan.

Wish I could have been here to know them. Rest in peace fellow trailblazer.

Sad to see another great fan go.

I hope he doesn't miss game six of the finals when we win it all.

Gramps...

Not sure the details. I know he had Cerebral Palsy. Some medical emergency occurred yesterday that he wasn't able to fight off in part to the strength of his body. Was in a coma last night passed away today.

He contacted me about 9 years ago offering up Free Geek for my wife and I to hold an engagement party. We never ended up doing it, but I was very grateful for the offer. I went in last year to donate our old computer and saw a banner with his name on it as he was celebrating 10 years there.

After a few attempts I never did get to meet him but I saw and felt the positive way that he helped others. This is very sad news and may he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

Wow. That's too bad. RIP, G.

He posted here in the early days, and I knew him for several years before that. I spoke to him on AIM many times. I had seen him browsing the forums recently, but he did not respond to PMs. Terrible news.

One of the absolute nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and talking with.

A very kind and generous man. He will be missed by all who knew him, myself included.

I met him a few times back in the BBB.net days. Great guy. Sad to hear this.
