RFK Jr. says COVID was ‘ethnically targeted’ to spare Jews

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dished out wild COVID-19 conspiracy theories this week during a press event at an Upper East Side restaurant, claiming the bug was a genetically engineered bioweapon that may have been “ethnically targeted” to spare Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people.

Kennedy floated the idea during a question-and-answer portion of raucous booze and fart-filled dinner at Tony’s Di Napoli on East 63d Street.

“COVID-19. There is an argument that it is ethnically targeted. COVID-19 attacks certain races disproportionately,” Kennedy said. “COVID-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and black people. The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.”

“We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted or not but there are papers out there that show the racial or ethnic differential and impact,” Kennedy hedged.

I tried to listen to him and after 20 minutes into an interview I realized this guy is nuts. Won't be getting my vote ever. I think he has serious PTSD issues from the tragedies of his family. He's big on conspiracy theories.
 
Maybe Jews and Chinese got vaccinated? At higher than average rates?

Everyone else is less crazy, but just as much out to take money and power from the masses.

Is there not any data showing the varying effects of Covid on different ethnic types? I thought this was indeed something that was studied.

Yes, those things are studied. But that doesn't mean the virus was engineered.

No, it doesn’t. Did Kennedy say it was? I didn’t see that part. But the very next paragraph in the article does relent:

“There has been a growing consensus among US intelligence agencies that COVID-19 was man-made and escaped from a lab in Wuhan, China”

So the NYP must be kooks too.

As long as it's based on evidence gained by expert professionals rather than wild theories (wild theories like targeting a specific ethnicity).

Thus far it doesn't seem there is much hard evidence one way or another. And if there ever is, the circumstances will matter.

Arguing about it with the current evidence is pretty futile. Claiming to know if it was lab grown orevolved naturally is just dishonest unless you are an expert professional.

I know experts and professionals can bring a sense of comfort and especially legitimacy when dealing with controversial information and speculation. That being said, the schizos got the Wuhan lab being shady right, and it's tough for people to admit that.

The most recent info I could find says that 2 out of 8 US agencies believe the virus was released from the Wuhan labs, so not a consensus. None that I know of are saying it was man made.

“And at this point, the U.S. intelligence community still has no consensus about the origin of SARS-CoV-2. Four of the eight intelligence agencies lean toward a natural origin for the virus, with "low confidence," while two of them — the DOE and the Federal Bureau of Investigation — support a lab origin, with the latter having "moderate confidence" about its conclusion.

And even if there were, considering how quickly and easily viruses mutate you would be playing with fire.
 
Taiwans experts with all their experience battling and eliminating SARS in 2003 came to the conclusion that the covid 19 virus started in Wuhan's wet market and identified the ground zero host there. They have no interest in American political propoganda so my friends at the Tsu Chi Medical College all confirmed to me that it was not a lab leak. It exists in actual fauna outside the laboratory. The anti Chinese sentiment Trump spouted early on in the pandemic actually caused unnecessary deaths all across our country that did not occur in Taiwan as they locked the country down immediately ...we never truly locked down the thousands of airports in America. Big mistake. At any rate, people want to make it a red and blue issue but it's a global issue. If you see how seriously the lockdown was in Taipei in 2003 you'd understand how effectively they won the battle ....it was a law that everyone had to be masked in public and have temps taken before entering any establishment. I was there....I appreciate how they dealt with it...our response here the first year of covid was nothing short of a shit show. Poor leadership led to a catastophic result and prolonged the spread and mutation of it while politicians wasted time arguing with science. They are still arguing with science because, y'know....own the libs! Of all the things to come together behind....a pandemic should not be politicized ever.

Government agencies do shady stuff. So do corporations. The system is set up that way. That's how they get funding.

Sure. I also can't hold it against anyone disregarding the lab leak stuff in real time when the people pushing the info on social media also thought the vaccines had nanobots in them or something. Tough sell.
 
Kennedy also said Anne Frank "had it easy" compared to Americans during Covid restrictions.
 
Republicans called him to testify at their "weaponization" committee, I guess about how persecuted quacks and antivaxxers are. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz challenged him on the antisemitic conspiracy theories he spouts on right wing media. He denied he said what he is on video saying. He also addressed her as Congressman. I guess Covid rotted his brain.
