The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (35-15) topped the Austin Toros (27-23) 120-111 tonight at State Farm Arena. Tonight's win set the franchise-record for most wins in a season, 35, and tied the franchise's longest win streak on 10 wins.

Andrew Goudelock led the Vipers with 21 points, followed by Glen Rice, Jr. with 19 points, 9 rebounds. Tyler Honeycutt added 17 points, and Royce White scored 13 points.

Aron Baynes led the Toros with a double-double 23 points, 15 rebounds. Lester Hudson scored 22 points, followed by Tre Kelley with 21 points. Rick Jackson and Dontell Jefferson each scored 13 points. `

With 2:33 in the first quarter the Vipers took control of the first half. Honeycutt and Singletary sank consecutive three-point shots that gave RGV the 24-15 advantage. At the end of the first, the Vipers were up 28-22.

RGV's continued to build their lead in the second quarter. The Vipers outscored the Toros 40-26 points in the quarter, and led 68-48 at halftime.

The Vipers held their largest lead 28 points three times during the third quarter. At the end of the third, RGV was up 94-74.

Austin came back fighting in the fourth quarter. The Toros outscored the Vipers 37-26. With 1:38 on the clock, Baynes sank two free throws to help the Toros close their deficit to four points, 110-106. However, Austin was not able to take the lead. RGV won 120-111.
