Rick Nash’s Comments Today

Rick Nash, after skating today, met with the media:

-On how he feels, “It’s been good days and bad days over the last four weeks. There were steps forwards and then a step back and I have strung together a good 3 or 4 days and it’s been all positive since then.”
-Have you reached out to anyone to talk about it, “each case is so different, different symptoms, different techniques. I talked with a few guys who have been through this and what seemed to work for me was just time.”
-On the support from the team, “the support, from the organization has been unbelievable. I haven’t felt pressured or anything like that. Guys check in daily so it’s been pretty nice. It’s tough when they take away the thing you love so it’s been great.”

Sounds like sometime after the new year as he can't return at this point with his prior concussion history till completely clear like Staal and if it takes a long time for this to happen thats just got to be the way it is. Still need to import a heavyweight whether its a forward or as dump suggests a d-man like big mac to make sure the runs taken at him stop

Nash is too big an investment to be rushed back. Sometimes when you have a player of Nash's caliber his teammates will sit back and wait for him to make things happen, I felt that happened a lot with Gaborik which was unfair to him. Now it seems every Ranger is giving 100% or perhaps it's the replacement of Tortoiserella with AV's up tempo.
