RIP Blazer fan

Gotta say-- I can't remember this happening in my 30-ish years of watching the NBA. With little notice, the Blazers (and their PR staff) seem to have done everything right. Makes me proud to be a fan of the organization.

i think my cynicism towards pr machines is noted around here, but they went above and beyond. it was great to see. props to them, for sure.

This was cool!

All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge, who was especially moved by the tragedy, had every Blazers player sign one of his game-wore jerseys and personally gave it to Zickefoose's daughter and granddaughters before the game. They, along with other members of Zickefoose's family, were at the Moda Center for the Denver game.

Makes me proud our team, the city and the fans all showed their support. We truly are a family
