OT RIP Bunny Wailer

Died today at 73....was the true shaman and country rasta..never liked to leave his home much...I recorded with his drummer in Hawaii over one weekend and he told me a lot about Bunny...he was revered amongst the reggae musicians world over...had such a soft voice and gentle percussion style....he will be missed! He was the spiritual leader of that rock steady movement

Last of the original trio the Wailers......later Bob Marley and the Wailers....he and Peter Tosh split from the band at the same time...Bunny wanted to go home and Tosh wanted to record with Mick Jagger in England....Bob kept the Wailers going with a larger band and went on to huge success
