I would like to express my condolences to the Puckett family and the Twins organization...

Kirby Puckett is the Minnesota Twins. This is one of the worst days of my life right here. I hope the Twins go out there and win the World Series for us, and I hope Torii Hunter (one of Kirby's best buds) wins MVP. :'(

RIP kirby. My favorite player of all time, and a fucking great guy. MLB lost one of the best to ever strap em up. You made the inner-city chicago proud Kirby.

Just like it was sad to see him leave the game so early. The guy was so clutch, such a great leader and a very respected guy among the baseball community. If Baseball had more guys like Kirby, and less guys like Barry Bonds it would be 100X better. There just aren't enough Kirbys out there tho.

Very unfortunate news since he was only 45. RIP.
