My all time favorite actor.
When I think of Kirk Douglas, so many movies flash before my mind that it's hard to pick out a favorite.
Some that I loved were:
1. Spartacus;
2. The Juggler;
3. Ulysses;
4. The Vikings;
5. Last Train from Gun Hill;
6. Saturn 3.

Arguably the greatest actor ever.

I'm pretty sure Spartacus is the only movie I've seen that he was in.

I also enjoyed:
Gunfight at the OK Corral
In Harm's Way
The Heroes of Telemark
The War Wagon

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!

One of my favorite movies as a kid. To this day I'm be at the grocery store pushing the grocery cart and will randomly yell out, "Ramming Speed!"

Ramming speed to me is from the movie Ben Hur.

Married for 65 years.

Son of Russian Jews, which made his movies The Juggler and Cast a Giant Shadow especially powerful.

Kirk was an icon and a maverick. One of the best actors of his time. To live to 103 after surviving a helicopter crash at 74 and then a stroke 5 years later....wow. We lost another great one.
