Why haven't we heard from Clyde and Terry? Danny Ainge?

Why haven't we heard from Clyde and Terry? Danny Ainge?

Here’s a quote from Clyde in an Oregonian article on Rick’s passing:

“Just an absolute gentleman, a prince of a guy,” said Clyde Drexler, a Hall of Fame player who developed into an All-Star under Adelman in Portland. “I have nothing but respect and admiration for Rick Adelman. He was one of my favorite coaches of all time. And as good of a coach as he was, he was an even better person. Gone too soon.”

There’s a quote from TP in the same article, but it’s more of a reminiscence about Adelman’s coaching.

Here’s what Danny Ainge had to say about Rick in a Quick article in The Athletic:

“A very smart coach, but the thing I remember the most about him was just the quality of human he was,” said Danny Ainge, who played two seasons under Adelman in Portland. “First and foremost, he was a good person, a good man. He had experience as a player, and as a coach, he understood what playing was, but he was just a really good human being that everyone respected.”

I used to go see summer league games in Vegas and he was usually there. I might have said hello to him once or twice. A lot of other coaches and execs were there, too.
