OT RIP the Fantasy sci-fi genre

Lesbian Wars was cancelled. When are these idiots every going to learn? They keep churning out crap, tainted by wokism, and lose massive amounts of money. Again, again, and again.

For those who don't know, the newest "Star"(Lesbian) Wars show Disney produced is literally about a group of lesbian witches, and features a very diverse cast of no white males. The creators of these shows are openly admitting to these goals.

It was of course, a piece of utter crap, with bad story, bad acting, and bad everything.

Woke morons are ruining the fantasy genre. It's not that I mind incorporating females into fantasy, they've always been part of fantasy, it's the fact the fact of super-imposing your woke crap into the world that ruins it.

The fact is, women are not the ones who go out and fight wars, and most fantasy stories revolve around war and fighting of some kind. So why are they obsessed with portraying "strong female leads"?

The same thing happened with Willow, Ring of Power and The Witcher. The Witcher actually started off good, as the lead actor insisted they stick to the source material, but he was driven away by woketard writers, who had to instill DEI into a medieval based fantasy.
 
And no, no one is saying not to include women in fantasy. So don't reply with that.

Case in point: Galadriel: awesome character. She could have been a great leading character in Ring of Power. But the woke Ring of Power creators had to transform her into a masculinized sword fighter. I know a lot of you will reflexively call me a "bigot" or whatever, but I'm really defending women.

Those are fine. I don't know if you read my 2nd post. I'm not saying women shouldn't be in fantasy. Even though that Star Trek captain was about the most uncharasmatic character in the history of Star Trek.

The problem is when you don't have good characters, story or plot, or ruin previously created worlds, because your sole focus is to push this "strong female character" motif and cancel white people. Kathleen Kennedy said "the force is female".

There are multiple female Star Trek captains. The 2 shows with female Star Trek captains went 7 and 5 seasons.

You equate this with "equality". But that's the problem, they're not making good shows, they're trying to push an agenda. Have you even seen any clips of that show? "The power of one! The power of Two, the power of mannnnyyyy". It's crap, but people like you won't call it out, you just want to virtue signal.

There's no question about it. There is a definite anti-white bias in the media, and in woke idiots who are producing shows these days. Why would the creators of these shows openly say that they are "trying to make white people uncomfortable.". What kind of crap is that? Racism, masquerading as virtue. And the mice lap it up...

What it looks like in the early stages of worms eating your brain. The funny thing is that these bozos are usually the ones that say "I don't see color" when it's apparently all they can see.
 
How soon before some enterprising entrepreneur produces a TV with built in AI that turns all black characters white and erases all mention of non-hetero sexuality? Then relatives can secretly install them in their crazy boomer relatives' houses and they won't have to hear any more insane rants like OP's.

Hey, don't EVEN be blaming Boomers for the Trump insanity. Most of the Boomers on this site lean to the left. And I'd bet the OP isn't even through his thirties (if he's even out of his teens). Quit blaming Boomers for all the insanity in this country. I grew up in an atmosphere of social justice (and proudly so). So DO NOT equate me (or my generation) with this particular poster. Seems to me like the most vitriolic racism these days is generated by the younger generations who somehow feel cheated. The OP is an obvious case in point.

The Star Wars show because of... oh god... Lesbians.

And The Boys because Homelander is being compared to Trump.

Yes there are, but for years fantasy and sci-fi suffered from cheesy low budget productions. Then Game of Thrones game along and proved there was a large audience for high budget series. Now a bunch of money is getting getting poured into great franchises, and it's all ruined because they get written by morons.
