Love this! I came a cross this asian man singing Ava Maria down there once and almost cried. He was amazing. Also, under the patio at Bethesda Fountain, there was a group of people who were standing in these specific spots, that carried there voices like surround sound while they sang.....breathtaking.
But my favorite was this sax player playing some John Coltrane down there that I'll never forget. God I love music!

Before rock & roll died...In the 10-year decade of the 60s, from the mid-50s to mid-70s (ha ha), my generation was gifted with a hundred excellent new tunes per year, slowly parsed out to us. So I know the words to 2000 songs. Well actually, when I look up some nowadays on the internet, I may find discrepancies...I had to patch bridges between understandable lyrics...I think mine are better and I'm not about to change them now.
How many love in's and/or rock festivals have you been too? Those were fun times!
