It would be awesome if he jumped into the race.

I voted for Trump four years ago. He could not deliver. This time around he didn't want to put in the effort.
I am not sure what the hell he has to say, but at this point, I think he ought to STFU.

FTFTFY (fixed that for the future you)

Donald Trump has built an entire campaign on smearing everyone..Republicans, Democrats, Asians, Muslims, Hispanics, ...he has run the ugliest campaign I've ever seen....Trump spent how much time trying to smear Obama over birth records when he first took office....give me a break..the snake oil salesman is knocking on your door and you let him in

I think that Mitt Romney could've won in 2012.

The most recent Trump speech I saw (on CNN yesterday), the CNN people were all saying it was a great speech and that he's toned down his rhetoric considerably since the early days.

I guess they want Trump to face Hillary because the polls currently show Hillary would win.

I'm not so sure. Everyone has discounted Trump all along and all he does is exceed expectations.

I absolutely do not want to see either Hillarity or Trump as the next president. I don't see either as the lesser of two evils.

Did you guys just hear the speech?? He just called out Trump. More scathing speech than John Oliver's.

Today's announcement from Romney is exactly the kind of thing that will fuel Trump and his supporters. Drumpf is like NYC in Ghostbusters 2 feeding off anger.

?

Not sure what you mean by this? As in he won but wasn't given the win? Or are you talking about the lame video?

the thread is about Romney giving a speech about Trump. I'm saying, poorly I admit, that if THIS Romney had run in 2012 instead of the stiff, boring and 47%er that ran, he could've won in 2012. He had no chance in 2012.

Why? Because I'm open to voting for either and not just voting for one side?

Give me a break. Go back to letting the media tell you who to vote for.

Go look on Twitter, there are plenty of people supporting trump that the media tells you hate him
I don't have twitter and I'm not a Democrat but I know what Trump is without anybody telling me...he told me himself repeatedly...news flash...when you vote you vote for one side..doesn't mean you belong to the group...you don't have a choice to vote for more than one side..go back to letting the media tell you how popular Trump is...he doesn't fool me for a second..and nobody is going to sell me on his bullshit

the GOP deserves to lose this election. They are too stupid to support a guy that isn't far right, that actually could pull some of the moderates and independents. They are too busy beating up their own, while the dems have been trying to smear trump the entire time.

I disagree. Trump views are about 85% 1960's Democrat, as are mine. As are many older Democrats.

Against Hillary, many Dems my age will vote for Trump. He actually pretty far left of Hillary when looking at what they's done in life rather than what they say they will now do.

I fully expect him to be our next President, unless Sanders somehow makes it past Hillary and the New World Order DNC.

He learned, just like Rubio is learning

Romney speech is interesting. Should make good campaign commercials for Hillary in the fall.

Hardly necessary, but helpful

*28 seconds of Trump talking like a New York Mussolini*

SMASH CUT to a black screen

FADE IN the words:

"WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS BULLSHIT."

"HILLARY FOR THE BLOCK 2016"

I don't have to let the media tell me how popular trump is. The voters do that themselves.

And I'm sorry to hear we still have people that will immediately crucify someone without hearing them out.

I'm giving trump and Clinton that chance, even though I don't like either of them.
Donald Trump made his own case for being a horrible candidate...we've heard him for half a year now...what haven't you heard out of him yet? How many debates do you need to hear before you assess that Trump is a blowhard? Didn't take me long and as I've stated before, the voters haven't spoken..and the votes that will make a difference are probably as disgusted as I am at this campaign..if we voted today, I'll vote whoever is against Trump for my own logical reasons..he cannot be trusted...has no knowledge of the world affairs and no knowledge of military policy or strategy. If he were running for Secretary of the Treasury, it would be a different fit..he might be good at that but don't give him nukes to play with and don't let him piss off our allies with his authoritarian bluster.

Lol and Clinton is any better? She is an idiot too. Hence, why I'm waiting.

Btw, half the stuff you read about trump isn't true. It's called a smear campaign. Like I said, go check out the people supporting him on Twitter. Mags is a good starting point, lots of activity on his Twitter about it.
this explains it...you've been following mags twitter...mags and I've argued about Trump from the day he declared his campaign....I've listened to Trumps debates, interviews and speeches...he's a liar and a bully...again..fuck Trump...if you don't see it...I'm not changing you're view. There's not one candidate I believe in in the race but there is one I really don't believe in and it's Trump

Man, you're reading to much View and Huff Post bro..... wow.

I'm actually not...most of my view of Trump is taken directly from his own mouth...I'm not as shallow as some folks seem to think about my views...you can flip that attitude though to include, Obama, Clinton, Bush or whoever because face it...we're all opinionated. I've already listed my reasons a million times here but this campaign is over for me now. I'm good come election day. Trump makes it an easy decision for me.

I haven't been that down on a candidate since Nixon. However, it was Eisenhower that got me that down on him. The dumb shit ordered us to escort Taiwan supply ships to Quemoy, apparently simply to draw the shore battery fire. Bad enough but we had no rules of engagement! Just eat shit and grin, we were not allowed to shoot back. I don't know how the hell we survived this hail of 155 fire, but we did. When we got out of range, the captain was beet red with rage, he had one more request of me. Take the gig and go back in there and retrieve a down pilot, we had lost one of our CAP, in the water. Fuck! That was a long day, I got the guy but lost the gig, a Taiwan patrol craft picked us up about 5 the next morning.

I could never accept this as a proper action of the Commander in Chief. Some how Trump seems like the only one running that would not take excessive risk for with our young men. I have no trust at all that Hillary would even know it is not right. Rubio? Naw. Crus, don't know but I doubt he knows better.

It has been really unusual. I keep waiting for the yo mamma jokes to start between the candidates
