This quote stuck out to me:

Rudy is just a fun guy and that statement has nothing to do with his Seth Rogan style hairdo. Before the game he was marveling at the snow fall, saying that it was the first time he's ever seen snow and sharing with a couple reporters how he spent his day building a snowman and struggled navigating the icy roads in his Subaru. He was just as engaging with fellow countryman Sergio Rodriguez as he was with Joel Przybilla, the reporters or the locker room attendants.

First time seeing snow?

Nice article about all of the rookies on the team.

Yeah, good article. Too bad Greg says as many words as Nicolas and Rudy in his word association game. And love the pissed off Bayless look at the top of the page like he's always got. Just funny to me how he's the same 24/7.

I think the word association game revealed that Greg's mindset is a bit different from his fellow Blazer rookies. It's interesting that when asked what each thought of the other rookies on our team, everyone of them used words relating to on-court demeanor/attributes, except Oden. He instead focused on the others' personality and not so much about basketball.

I'm not sure what this means about Oden, but his perspective is apparently different than the other 3 rookies on our squad. I'm not sure if it shows that he's more sensitive than the others, or perhaps that he's not as obsessive about basketball, or something else. It's quite possible that this means nothing at all. Just pointing out what I found interesting in this well-written article. The writer was really complementary of our rookies and this city.
