Rookie-Soph game!

This is Oden and Rudy's 3rd night in a row of ball, plus Rudy has the dunk contest tomorrow night. I expect both will be playing limited minutes for an All-Star game.

It is at 6pm PST. I think the Rookies will win, but Rudy and Oden will not have much of an impact. Rose and Mayo are going to go nuts.

I say Rudy shoots a minimum of 7 or 8 3's.

Do they have 6 foul limit in the game? I see Oden getting some monster blocks.

I wonder if Greg will try to block any shots?

I don't know if you guys saw it during the game last night, but Greg banged knees with Maggette! He seemed to be fine the rest of the game, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play more then 15 minutes. I remember when Sabas played in the game, I think he played something like 2 minutes!

The best Rookie-Sophmore game ever.

Mainly because we have 2 rookies in it, but also because of Durant vs. Oden.

I like what Thorpe had to say about the players today, espcially Oden. Is this a cheap shot at Portland's offense? Its a true statement, thats for sure.
If Oden enjoys running rim to rim and fighting hard for position, the lack of solid defending will translate into a guaranteed dunkfest for him. He's just too big not to be a force in a game like this, as long as his teammates throw him the ball.

I live in PHX and will be enjoying the game live. Not rubbing it in, just stating a fact.

HCP's sig is disturbing!

What's wrong with a large, wet, mass coming hard out of the middle of Uncle Sam's interior and heading fast across the screen to the east?

No jersey, kids will be wearing their Suns jerseys. No matter how much I ground them, they refuse to be Blazer fans, something about them being born in PHX.

That's alright, you'll be able to gloat them while we're winning championships in the next 8-10 years, and the suns are rotting in mediocrity.

great...now odens hurt

He bumped knees and went out of the game. He came back in and made big cuts and rebounded fine. I imagine he woke up today with some day after soreness. I understand you probably want to make this very dramatic and long-drawn out, but I highly doubt it is serious considering the cuts he was making after returning last night.
