Im struggling to find a clear ideal choice.

ive only ever had comcast and amazon firestick thru direct link. Direct link is cancelling their ezvideo option so i will no longer get root sports through them….

soooo im frantically searching for another option prior to preseason tip off.
From what ive found this far, at&t tv might be the best option.

I know this has been discussed in here before but cant find the thread(mods can merge if they pop up).
Does anyone currently have at&t tv and if so how do you like it?

is anyone aware of any other option to get root sports if your not in a comcast serviced area?

id prefer a channel i can record games on as i like to come home from the games and watch them afterwards. So a live only streaming would be my last resort.

thoughts? Suggestions?

Edit: i keep copying and pasting a second link but it thinks its a video now. Not sure why…

I think, so far, AT&T is the only one I have found. Unfortunately, when I checked, it was like $90 something a month, instead of the $65 I pay for YoutubeTV. So I think if they don't get anything worked out there before the season, I'll likely jump on the hehestreams bandwagon.

What i read is that rate is a month to month. If you sign a two year agreement its $65 a month. Likely the route i will be taking.
We iust watch so little tv it pains me to pay for all the other stuff i will never use.
Ste would be nice to jsut get the root channel for like $20 a month or something.

Oh. Im going to have to find a way to watch the Seahawks games too. But there are on different channels at times so its making that even more dofficult.

Also. What about the games root doesn't show that go to tnt or something.
Arg. Sooo confusing.

Hehestreams was shutdown by the owner last month. It looks like they finally went after him. Sucks because I'm not going to pay$85
a month to AT&T for a bunch of crap I'm not going to watch. This looks like a worse move than the Comcrap debacle. FIRE MCGOWAN!

This isn't going to be a popular post, but it has to be made.

For the last month, my freedom has been jeopardy. I have been fighting it, exhausting every legal avenue and every magnitude of financial means in an attempt to thwart it.

However, in order to have a better chance at a future, HeheStreams is immediately ceasing every and all operations."

Unlike CSN, though, Root is on satellite systems.

well shit

Root Sports is on Spectrum down here at least, and the Spectrum app just got added back to Roku after not being on it since December, so that might be an option.

According to an article on The Athletic, Root Sports is beginning discussions with Hulu, YouTube, FUBOTV and other platforms about getting more options for streaming.
That would be perfect. We already have Hulu. Think it will be completed before start of the season? Only behooves them to do so, it…

Well I bought the Roku thinking I could get rid of shitty Comcast. Then I found out because the Blazers switched to ROOT that I couldn’t stream it so I ended up keeping shitty Comcast because literally the only TV that I actually watch (blazers and zags) are on ROOT

I’m wondering what happens next spring when Mariners and Blazers are playing at the same time?

Thanks for the thread, OB. The only reason I have YouTube TV was to watch the games so I’m hoping for some kind of streaming solution.

I'm wearing a Mariners polo today. It's a rough life, bro.

We got through the Jack "well, he hits home runs, so sign him" Z...

At least this year, pitching wise, has been promising.

Yeah I'm currently in Denver and am scrambling trying to find an alternative. For now it's shitty streams until another hehe shows up I guess. Man that site was amazing--used it for the NFL and NBA season. Ugh...watched all the Charger games last season on hehe to watch Herbert. Denver doesn't show many Charger games for obvious reasons haha.

So to be clear, Youtube TV does or does not have ROOT?

they do not.
Currently only comcast, direct tv, ezvideo and at&t it looks like.
I wont do direct tv, ezvideo is going away and comcast doesn't service canby.
For me it might be at&t or im assed out. lol

Seriously though. Times gonna fly and preseason will be here before i blink. I need to get this figured out! Like some of you as well it sounds like. Should we start a petition to the Blazers to get with a larger company with better access?
Back to nbcnw or whatever it was? Would they even listen?

Casey said Root sports would arrange online streaming this season..they know they have that audience and need to expand viewership
Got to figure with their best player having a contract with Hulu, they're not going to mess with that. Plus streaming is huge now. Most people i know are leaving comcast for good. I had Hulu in Springfield and watched all the games. The idea is to get the most people to view your product. Now that i'm back in Denver ( Lakewood), i will have to purchase League Pass again. But i will purchase the Blazers only option. It's cheaper.

question is, will it be recordable or savable to watch in a delayed fashion? I havent been able to find a clear answer on that one yet.
