Just saw Pedro Gomez comment about Joy Bats in a video. Per a Dan Duquette statement, the Orioles were not interested in Bautista because "Our fans hate him. Old Joey should have accepted that qualifying offer from Toronto. Seems that Mr. Peacock Bautistas feather spreads have not made many opponents happy over the years. Now that he's a free agent his job search is collapsing around him. Yep Joey no one wants a 36 year old mouth whos pissed off people for years and is now on the down side of his game. To paraphrase an old Griffey quote "you picked a bad year to have a bad year"

After the Blue Jays beat Texas there was a sign stating "better punched out in April than knocked out in October. A bit premature I'd say after what the Indians did up there. Bautista picked the wrong year to talk more shit than a septic tank. Sad thing is as much money as he's made being without a baseball job won't hurt him. Perish the thought of seeing Joey Bats and A-Hole as the new Fox Broadcast Team.
