Sorry but i've come to realize these 2 guys cant carry us to a title. Roy is a great player but hes too easy to take out of his comfort zone. he just doesnt have a smooth flow like the kobes, wades, etc. And then theres LA who seems like he is lost out there. Has no inside game and if teh jumpers arent falling... hes kinda average at best. he seems to have odens problems with fouls now. I dont know.... i just dont think they are consistent enough to lead us to a title ... no less a second round appearance.

Seems like there's something missing with them on a night to night basis. I am just starting to think that these 2 guys will need lots of help if we are gonna challenge for a title. Its sucks to hear this but i think its the truth.

You're probably not far off. Fortunately there's Oden who seems to be developing pretty decently. Along with Rudy, who's starting to find his stride.
Roy+LMA+stiffs =/= title. Our team as currently constructed (though perhaps not as implemented) can.

sarcasm... a blazer fans best friend when something bad is said about roy, la, or oden.

the truth hurts....

OK, how 'bout a serious response. Nobody ever thought Roy & Aldridge alone would be championship cornerstones; it's always been "the big three". It's generally accepted that Oden will need to be all-star caliber for us to reach title contention status. You're not stating anything that we don't already know.

oden stinks... just cause he can abuse minnys big men doesnt mean much

+1 . . . and it looks like Oden can be that player. A little more consistentcy night in and night out, but Roy, Aldridge Oden big three all gelling together could be the formula.

They are too passive IMO. LA is a 3rd option at best and roys game isnt the same as other superstars. He doesn't score with the ease kobe and wade do.

And Oden is light years away from being a consistent scoring center. rudy is our third best player.

i heard they are still having a drought down in georgia.

maybe you can go down there and cry them a river.

waaaa waaaaa boo hoo :( im depressed :(

:sigh:

Back on topic.

LMA is a very good supporting player...the problem is, many of us thought he could be more than that. Too bad...but whatcha gonna do? :dunno: He is still the 2nd best player from his draft class.

Maybe 3rd. Rondo is fantastic.

LaMarcus is a monster player, and now that ball-hog Miller takes a well-deserved back seat we'll see it on the court.

Well you better find a way to get over it. We just signed them to max extensions before this season. (Or close to max). :devilwink:

He's not just abusing Minnesota big men. His opponent PER on the season is 8.1, while his is 20.8, a +12.7 difference.

By the way, I'd like to see you answer this MIXUM, instead of ignoring it like you usually do.

Actually Aldridge and Miller play well together, especially when they're allowed to run. But you'll never see that because your mind refuses to. Open your mind.

I'm still not convinced you are a blazers fan. I think you randomly selected one NBA team to "root" for, but in name only. I mean, how can you be a fan of a sports franchise when you hate every player, coach and staff? What, do you really like the logo?
